A Great Everyday Whisky
Reviewed by John Fegan on
As well as being an incredibly cheap whisky (around £3.77 after you remove the tax from the £14 retail price) Bells the Original is a pretty good whisky in its own right.
Aroma: Grass and honey
Palate: Nut oils, honey and cereal
Finish: Sultanas and honey, cereal

Average Price £14
In addition to having some of the best advertising in the business – if you’ve not seen their South African “The Reader” you can see it in my whisky & marketing post – Bells is also one of the best budget Supermarket blends about, I’d place it easily on par with Johnnie Walker Red which clocks in about £6 more.
