A sweet, yet peppery blend of 13 & 21 year old Jura, Superstition is bold and brash as you would expect from a younger whisky yet it offers the same complexity you would find in the Distillery’s more seasoned offerings. One of my first ever malts and one i return to like clockwork.

Jura Superstition is crafted from a selection of the Finest aged Jura single malt whiskies. This mysterious spirit has a unique style and character, with tastes of tangy cinnamon, ginger spice and honey with whispers of salty sea spray, rich coffee and roasted chestnuts.
An introduction to Isle of Jura
With just one Road, one Shop, one pub and one distillery but over 5,000 Red Deer. Jura is an island with a unique spirit. An island rich in folklore with prophesies, superstitions and the craft of Whisky making have been handed down from generation to generation. Where deep in the hills the fresh water flows the elixir that the Diurachs have been transforming into fine whisky for hundreds of years.
Tracing its origin back down the centuries whisky making runs through the island and its people. From 1810 when the first distillery was built to 1963 when the distillery was reborn bringing hope and good fortune to the island once more. When you come to the island you’ll have a wonder welcome. Slangie Var!
Jura In a world of its own.
